Our tank & RAS systems are specially developed together with the aquaculture industry to offer the world’s best tank system for land-based aquaculture. The solution is cost-effective, safe, and long-lasting for our customers. Due to very high demand, Silikal has established a dedicated department for land-based coatings to enhance expertise in these specialized systems and ensure correct installation worldwide.

Curing

Another important point is that installation can take place even under difficult conditions. The curing time is short, and installation can occur at temperatures as low as 4 degrees Celsius. This is very beneficial for cold climate construction sites. Such as the nordics, especially during winter. Fast curing time ensures minimal downtime, allowing repairs without significant operational impact.

Maintenance

If maintenance is needed in the future, Silikal's hybrid coating will chemically bond to existing coatings, preventing peeling or delamination, which can have dramatic consequences in an aquaculture facility.
